Launcher 0.25.0 is out, and PvP matchmaking in WukongMP is live. Pick your region, join the queue, and when someone is ready on the other side, you are both in. No arranging matches and no looking for opponents on Discord.

PvP matchmaking

Open the Launcher, select PvP and then Find Match, pick your region and join the queue. When another player is found, you are both put into a quick 3-round tournament on a random map.

  • Find Match is disabled while the game is running. Close the game before searching for a new match.
  • While you wait, the Launcher shows how long it has been searching. If no opponent is found, try again.
  • If you already have a match waiting on the server, the Launcher asks whether you want to join it.

Here is a video of matchmaking in action.

Updating

The Launcher updates itself. If you are not on 0.25.0 yet, restart it, or download it from the Player Portal.
