The OblivionMP server 1.0.1 is out; the SDK stays at 1.0.0. This release offers improved stability, with fixes on top of 1.0.0: four crashes in the magic menu, at merchants, in combat and when closing the game, and a merchant's item list that lost its scroll position.

1.0.0 is out. It offers improved stability for the OblivionMP server and SDK, with fixes on top of rc.3: items enchanted at an altar and potions made with a Mortar and Pestle now look the same for every player, names with non-ASCII characters work, and two crashes are fixed. OblivionMP is still a work in progress, so expect rough edges.

Mod authors can now change how markers look, and put them over NPCs as well as players.

1.0.0-rc.3 is out. Most of it is fixes found in rc.2: rebirth no longer stacks bonuses or drifts your stats, pickpocketing works, barter handles books and large stacks, and other players stay seated.

Server owners also get two ways to make their server look like their own in the Launcher: an icon in the server list and a landing page in the Join panel.

1.0.0-rc.2 is out, one day after rc.1. We fixed some bugs present in rc.1, and cleaned up the SDK attribute syntax before API settles for 1.0.

This release breaks the SDK API. Mods built against 1.0.0-rc.1 have to be updated and rebuilt against the 1.0.0-rc.2 packages.

1.0.0-rc.1 is out. It is the first release candidate of the OblivionMP SDK 1.0, and the first time the server is a public download, for Windows and Linux. The Docker image will be available later.

1.0 is a rework of the SDK rather than an update to 0.2. Everything we planned for 1.0 is in, so the API should not move much from here. It is still a release candidate, though: expect rough edges, and tell us when you hit one.

OblivionMP is also open to everyone now. Until today it was a closed alpha for a group of modders from our Discord community, and Launcher 0.33.1 unlocks it for every ReadyM account.

Mod authors: mods written for 0.2 need porting. The 0.2.0 docs stay in the version menu.
